Rule 36- Select a band spokesperson
*Have a band spokesperson. Make sure this person is well spoken and funny – charming and witty always help. Make sure your band understands presenting a united front. The drummer saying one thing about an upcoming record and the singer stating something entirely different appears disorganized and confused. Band meetings should occur regularly to address general statements released to the press. Your booking agent, manager and publicist as well as the band should all be on the same page when communicating with reporters, writers and reviewers.
