Make Wise Use of Studio Time

Elliot Holden

*Don’t bring your girlfriend, boyfriend, or family members into the recording studio while you are working. Recording time is expensive. Use it wisely.

Musicians have the ability to record at home, on the road or have shows recorded at venues. But at some point, most of us have to step into a studio to record a polished and produced piece of posterity. The studio should be thought of as the ultimate creative work envirmonment. There is much to be done in a short (and expensive) amount of time.

It’s not place for friends or family or well wishers to hang out. It’s an expensive place to rent as a party destination. Be sure you deligate studio time to work and create the best music you can without distractions
