Book Your Band-Structure emails carefully
Understand talent buyers DO NOT CALL YOU in the beginning. Talent buyers start calling you when your band has proven themselves and when your band is drawing in the room. After your band is attracting a crowd, you become a viable commodity to the talent buyer.
A word about emails. Your voice, your inflection, your tone is totally lost in an email. Structure your email carefully. Be sure you’re choosing the correct wording as you follow up your package. In the subject line, always list the band’s name and the date you’re looking for. Even if you’ve mentioned it several times, the buyer is not likely to remember the date you’d like to perform. Read emails several times before sending.
