Libations

Playing music is perhaps the only job, aside from wine connoisseur or beer taster, where it is acceptable to drink on the job. But band business meetings should not include libations. It’s easy to get distracted from the task at hand when alcohol comes into play. It’s best to be strict about this policy. The meeting could last 45 minutes to an hour and THEN maybe the band could hit a bar or break out a bottle of wine. Navigating a music business course is tricky enough without the extra confusion of libations.
