I’ve been thinking this morning about professional perception and how the concept fits into band business and touring.
If your gig is booked by a reputable agent, publicized by a legitimate agency, advanced by a tour manager or other competent individual, performed by band who is talented and grounded and personable, how can your group not be perceived as professional?
Professional music business organizations, from agents to staff to bands, create a positive perception and impact. Bands who understand this build a network of fans, friends and talent buyers willing to talk, post, blog, write and chat about the band.
Professional perception is priceless.
